Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain responsive and interactive web applications using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.) with accessibility in mind.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following coding standards and best practices.
  • Develop and execute test cases to ensure reliability and functionality of web applications and their accessibility standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall product roadmap.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported by users or QA testers promptly.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging web technologies and frameworks to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Oversee deployment and maintenance processes, ensuring continuous improvement and high availability in production environments.

  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any position involving building, architecting, and leading development of large‑scale, consumer‑facing web applications using modern web technologies.
  • Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience designing, developing, and implementing highly interactive, accessible, and performant web applications that serve high‑volume, global audiences using modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.js.
  • 3 years of professional experience collaborating cross‑functionally with product management, UX/UI design, quality assurance, analytics, and business stakeholders to align technical roadmaps and feature priorities with broader organizational goals.
  • 3 years of professional experience modeling and advocating best practices in security, privacy, and accessibility standards throughout the full software development lifecycle within large‑scale consumer technology environment.
  • 3 years of professional experience proactively managing technical debt through strategic refactoring, process improvements, and system optimizations aimed at enhancing stability, scalability, and long‑term maintainability of complex software systems.
