Job description

TSC is currently seeking an IT/Network - Field Service Engineer based in Sierra Vista, AZ. The Field Service Engineer is a focal point to further enable the division to satisfy direct customer projects aligned with the Division Manager's and Operations Manager's objectives. This position will satisfy Field Service Engineering responsibilities on and off site related to further establishing Field Service Engineering support services for several program related projects concurrently. This position serves as a technical bridge between engineering resources and operators/maintainers in the assigned portfolio while reporting to the Field Service Engineering Manager. Works to develop and mature standardization, program or site-specific requirements, and risk management strategies, enabling increased probability of success to deliver new technological deliverables within the approved scope. This role is pivotal to supporting the entire team's ability to grow the scope of available Products or Services with a variety of Industry Partners for a globally oriented market in a high-stakes environment. Travel up to 25% is required. Required Qualifications: * A minimum of 5 years directly serving in a technical role, on-site, managing servers and network equipment.
* US citizenship and a current secret level security clearance.
* Current CompTia Security Plus certification
* Experience with initial integration and configuration of computing and network hardware/software subsystems
* Strong understanding and application of using network test equipment, for troubleshooting
* System Administrator experience with software integration and testing: Windows and Linux operating systems
* Hands-on experience with managing/maintaining CISCO network architecture
* Experience with developing standard operating procedures (SOP), system block diagrams, and subsystem test plans Preferred Qualifications: * Demonstrated technical expertise to ensure the Division's Field Engineering Services are executed, enabling the development, sustainment, and growth of technological deliverables
* BS in a Cybersecurity/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or related field
* Experience in aspects of ISR systems operational sustainment; GCS, comm systems, computing/networking, mission payloads, or other related subsystems with limited resources in austere environments
* Experience within Initial Cadre Teams for Rapid Development and Technology transfer
* Valid US passport
* Independent ability to plan, prioritize, schedule, and organize multiple management tasks simultaneously according to the importance of projects or management tasks assigned
