Job Description

We are looking for a pharmacy technician who will be able to assist the pharmacist as a retail technician and front-end sales associate. Retail, Nutritional or Vitamin supplement sales experience or knowledge is preferred.

Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00 am-6:30 pm Saturday; 9:00-1:00 pm.

Position schedule: You will rotate weekly the shifts 9-6:45 pm and work every other Saturday 9-1pm.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

ยท Excellent communication skill and customer service

ยท Prescription order processing including insurance billing (fast typing skill, proactive attitude)

ยท Accurate prescription fillings

ยท Ability to make outbound and take inbound calls from patients, vendors and medical personnel

ยท Experience with maintaining & tracking inventory

ยท Ability to help customers with over the counter products

ยท Ability to learn about compounding

ยท Knowledge of Pioneer-RX will be a plus

ยท Ability to learn specialty medications workflow.

ยท Contacts physicians' offices for refills or continued prescriptions where permitted.

ยท Communicate clearly and professionally w /internal and external departments and physician's offices and participants.

ยท Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and multi task

ยท Ability to function well in a team or independently with minimum supervision

ยท Complying with State and Federal laws; HIPAA and PHI

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
