Composite Manufacturing Engineer
Shift Type: Contract (3-6 months)
Location: West Chester, OH
Pay: $40-$50/hr
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of composite manufacturing experience (10+ years preferred for senior-level roles).
  • Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes including hand lay-up, autoclave curing, Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), and compression molding.
  • Experience developing Bills of Materials (BOMs), production plans, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production plans, manufacturing processes, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Support and optimize tooling design and manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Troubleshoot composite manufacturing processes and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
