Comprehensive Medical, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is fully remote, allowing you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your own home. As a member of our child and adolescent psychiatry team, you will play a critical role in supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of young individuals aged 5 to 18.

This position is uniquely structured for telehealth, offering the flexibility and convenience of remote work. You will engage with clients through secure video conferencing platforms, virtual consultations, and digital documentation. Our practice emphasizes a collaborative and supportive environment, even in a virtual setting, where team members frequently meet to discuss patient care and treatment advancements.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate the psychological needs and developmental issues of children and adolescents.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies, addressing individual challenges while considering family dynamics and developmental stages.
• Utilize therapeutic methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy to deliver effective interventions based on the presenting issues of young clients.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to support their children’s emotional and behavioral health.
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated treatment approaches, enhancing overall patient outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for youths in psychological distress, thereby ensuring safety and appropriate follow-up care.
• Educate children, families, and caregivers on mental health issues and available resources, empowering them to seek support and foster resilience.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Actively participate in case consultations and continue professional development through attending workshops and staying updated on best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

This role focuses primarily on children and adolescents, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact during their formative years. You will work closely with young patients dealing with a spectrum of psychological issues, allowing you to apply your expertise in a meaningful way. By supporting their mental health, you will help facilitate their self-exploration and growth, contributing to their long-term well-being.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
• Proven knowledge and understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, as well as familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Solid experience in delivering therapeutic services, both individually and with families.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating an ability to connect effectively with children and their guardians.
• Expertise in electronic health record (EHR) systems to efficiently manage patient documentation and treatment planning.
• Capacity for collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience providing telehealth services or familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.
• Additional training in specialized therapy modalities, such as trauma-informed care, behavioral therapy, or social-emotional learning techniques.
• Previous experience working in child and adolescent mental health settings, especially within outpatient or telehealth environments.

The compensation for this role falls within a competitive range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
