A Brief Overview
The Supply Chain Coordinator partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams to optimize, inventory management, and material flow processes. This role supports the analysis of work order flow and planning parameters, driving continuous improvement across supply chain activities. The coordinator helps ensure a balanced approach between service levels, inventory targets, plant efficiency, and customer expectations.
What you will do

  • A Supply Chain Office Coordinator is responsible for all clerical duties including: Data entry, errands, date management, sample preparing, and coordination of unit planning for production and has daily communication with the Voyant Beauty operation teams
  • Process Raw Material transfers, internally and to other Voyant Facilities. Process Job qty/dates revisions. Also includes Sales Order Revisions. Manually Process Jobs for Line Trials.Use Time Phase and Shortage Report to determine if a job has enough Raw Materials/ Components
  • Support material flow scheduling for both Voyant-purchased and customer-supplied materials, ensuring coordination with production plans. In communication with Account Managers about Customer provided Raw Materials and Components and when they are set to arrive. In communication with purchasing about incoming Raw Materials/Components
  • Batch size adjustment/ in communication with Compounding about blend dates. Work with component warehouse about how much of a component was issued to a Job and if it was overpulled. Work with production control to ensure the necessary jobs are being closed in the system
  • Adding on to the Order Status along with keeping it updated with fill dates along with blend dates. Weekly prepping for Unit Planning. Printing/Filling out travelers for Filling jobs along with Drum Orders. Distribute travelers Warehouse 1 at the end shift. Distribute bench standards to QC Lab.
  • Support internal reporting requirements related to inventory accuracy, service levels, and planning effectiveness.
  • Assist in planning system implementation and testing when needed.
  • Computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Organize shortage reports for Planning.
  • Process MRP suggestions
  • Some duties may vary slightly by location.


Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required) or
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field. (Preferred)


Experience Qualifications

  • 1-3 years in production planning within a complex consumer packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing environment (Preferred)
  • 1-3 years with ERP systems such as Infor, SAP, or Oracle (Preferred)
  • 1-3 years working in process manufacturing, production scheduling, or inventory control (Preferred)
  • 1-3 years computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook (Preferred)
  • 1-3 years demonstrated capability to work cross-functionally and foster new and existing business relationships (Preferred)


Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of production flows, planning, and material scheduling. (High proficiency)
  • Ability to monitor and support accurate inventory levels and reconciliation processes. (High proficiency)
  • Skilled in analyzing yield, MUV, and order data for process improvements. (High proficiency)
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and material management tools. (Medium proficiency)
  • Advanced skills including macros and data analysis functions. (High proficiency)
  • Ability to interact with customers and meet service expectations. (Medium proficiency)
  • Comfortable working with Operations, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams. (Medium proficiency)
  • Written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization. (Medium proficiency)
  • Familiarity with raw materials, production processes, and manufacturing terminology. (Medium proficiency)
  • Effective in managing records, files, and documentation accurately. (Medium proficiency)
