Job description

1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm

2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm

Responsible for weighing and dispensing various raw materials per the respective production recipes. The work assigned is based upon the individual’s training, experience and ability. This compounder is expected to perform the requirements of the job per the Standard Operating Procedures and specific weighment instructions recorded on the job recipe. The Supervisor may assign other tasks at the supervisor’s discretion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following

· Weighment of Recipe Ingredients

· Cutting Bales of Rubber to the proper weights

· Labeling Raw Materials

· Reading and interpreting the mill room schedules, Recipe Cards

· Follows the weighment work Instructions per the production recipe.

· Weighing up Raw Materials per each specific recipe to the specified units and accuracy, recording Lot #’s of key raw materials as outlined in the job descriptions.

· Prior to sending the batches to the various equipment each batch should be verified to ensure each contains all of the specified raw materials at the specified weights.

· Ensures that the mill room schedule is followed insuring the compounding area keeps each piece of equipment staged with raw materials.
