Location: Hoffman Estates, IL

Facility: Ascension Saint Alexius

Department: Pharmacy

Schedule: PRN l Night shifts

Salary range: $78.00 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Ensure safe and effective medication management by reviewing, verifying, compounding, dispensing, and overseeing appropriate selection, dosing, and administration of medications.

  • Identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems; recommend formulary alternatives; and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient care.

  • Supervise and support pharmacy technical personnel in medication preparation, maintenance, and distribution processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Provide drug information, patient counseling, and education to medical staff and patients; support academic initiatives as a preceptor and provide coverage across pharmacy operations as needed.

 What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
