Job description

Horizon Tool Inc. dba Solvera Labs is seeking Compounding Associates who will be responsible for the compounding and mixing of raw materials to create finished products. This includes ensuring that all products are made to the correct specifications.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the accurate weighing, checking and verification when mixing specific chemical compounds for product formulation.
  • Handles raw materials; uses required quantities to change compounding vessels to produce pharmaceutical and personal care products. Samples and verifies finished product, records raw material usage and completes batch records.
  • Prepares mixing equipment in accordance with established procedures; sets equipment controls; verifies and loads raw materials into the mixer.
  • Produces product by mixing raw materials, monitoring the mixing process, completing required documentation and electronic checks.
  • Maintains quality standards, operations, and a safe and clean working environment.
  • Cleans mixing equipment and prepares for the next batch.
  • performs monitoring of mixing and ancillary support equipment throughout formulation and filling, executes calibrations and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Other duties assigned by management.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience following a recipe.
  • Experience in manufacturing or liquid blending in food and or pharmaceutical environment a plus but not required.
  • cGMP and/or ISO 22716 a plus but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficient in basic math and computer skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
