Job description

Waters Edge Lodge is looking for a Prep-Cook/Dishwasher.
We are looking to add a Prep-Cook/Dishwasher to our dinner shift. This position works in the kitchen and dining room of our Assisted Living Facility, helping with food preparation and service as well as playing a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and related areas. The Dining Services Team is responsible for making sure that all residents receive three delicious and healthy meals a day; and the Prep-Cook/Dishwasher is an integral part of the team.
Pay Rate- $19.00 per hour
Current position is part-time, 3:00pm-8:00pm.
The schedule is a 3-on/3-off rotation.
Responsibilities
  • Cleaning, chopping, and measuring food at the direction of the Cook
  • Deliver coffee, tea, and food to various areas of the building
  • Bus tables in the dining room
  • Clear and wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
  • Sweep and mop floors of kitchen and food service areas
  • Empty garbage, compost, and recycling to appropriate dumpsters

Qualifications
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including 75 pounds push/pull and 25 pounds lift/carry
  • Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and DOJ
  • Ability to speak English clearly and audibly while working with elders with hearing deficits
