Atlas Disposal Industries is a leading, independently owned waste management company with over 25 years of experience serving communities in California, Utah, and Arizona. As a Front Load Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient waste, recycling, and compost collection services to local businesses and organizations. This position is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused, reliable, and enjoy working independently while contributing to a team dedicated to preserving the environment.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate heavy-duty front load trucks to collect waste, recycling, and compost containers along assigned routes.
  • Navigate high-traffic areas, driveways, alleyways, and tight spaces, performing skilled backing maneuvers as needed.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and complete required documentation.
  • Follow established routes and schedules, ensuring containers are serviced, replaced properly, and areas are left clean and free of debris.
  • Utilize a mobile tablet to track route progress, complete stops, and enter relevant notes and information.
  • Report unsafe situations, service issues, incidents, accidents, or property damage promptly to supervisors or dispatch.
  • Participate in required training sessions, meetings, and briefings.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and supervisors to improve route efficiency and customer service.
  • Assist other drivers as needed to meet customer needs and company goals.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with airbrake endorsement.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving experience.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to pass regular drug screenings, pre-employment physical, and background checks.
Compensation

$24.00 – $31.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
