Job description

We are a growing closed-door pharmacy supporting long-term care (LTC), assisted living facilities (ALFs), and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and we’re looking for an experienced LTC Pharmacy Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

This is a role for someone who enjoys staying busy, solving problems in real time, and being part of a team that keeps critical operations running smoothly. From cycle fills to STAT orders, your work will directly support patient care across multiple facilities. There is always something happening, and your attention to detail makes all the difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and fill prescriptions for LTC facilities, including:
    • Cycle fills
    • New orders
    • STAT/emergency medications
  • Prepare medications using blister packs, unit dose, and compliance packaging systems
  • Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records in pharmacy software
  • Communicate with nursing staff, providers, and facility personnel to clarify orders and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with inventory management and support facility-specific workflows
  • Perform routine checks for expired medications and proper stock rotation
  • Ensure compliance with Florida regulations, LTC standards, and pharmacy policies
  • Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License
  • 2+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in LTC, closed-door, or high-volume settings
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Cycle fill processes
    • Medication packaging systems
    • LTC regulatory requirements
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Experience

  • LTC software systems (Framework)
  • Experience with ALF and SNF workflows
  • Familiarity with med carts, MARs, and facility audits
  • Knowledge of controlled substance handling and documentation

Why Join Us

We’re not a slow-paced pharmacy, and that’s exactly what makes this role exciting. You’ll be part of a team that values efficiency, precision, and accountability, where your work has a direct impact on patient care across multiple facilities. As we continue to grow, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your expertise in LTC pharmacy operations and take on new challenges in an environment where there’s truly never a dull moment.
