Your Opportunity:
Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a current college student to join the team in Bloomington, IL as their Quality - Safety Intern.
Work Authorization:
To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Shift: Flexible Hours; 20 hours/week, Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm in office.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Will report to the Quality Assurance Specialist, with a dotted line responsibility to the Quality Assurance Specialist IV. This intern will assist with the safety programs at the Bloomington, Illinois facilities.
  • Will be responsible for aiding in ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and corporate safety requirements; as well as working with all departments to ensure compliance with our QMS (Quality Management System), thereby ensuring our ongoing ISO certification.
  • They will assist with ensuring that safety and quality programs/processes are maintained and that employees are current on all training and compliance requirements.

You Must Have:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's in an applicable field.
  • Ability to learn and commitment to carry out our safety and quality programs.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to write clearly and accurately, and strong verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, possess the ability to multi task and exhibit responsibility, creativity, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Able to work with employees at all levels of the company, and other interactions as situations require. Interact with corporate quality and safety personnel
  • You must be 18 Years old.
  • You must be able to work a minimum of 6 weeks during the time when the internship is offered.

The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $17. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
