Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced L3 POS / Retail Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail payment infrastructure across store environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience troubleshooting POS hardware, peripherals, Windows operating systems, and retail payment systems, along with scripting skills in PowerShell.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L3 technical support for Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail payment infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving POS terminals, payment systems, and store technology.
  • Support and troubleshoot POS peripherals, including:
  • Printers
  • Barcode scanners
  • Cash drawers
  • Other retail-connected devices
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of Windows operating systems, including storage, HDDs, RAID, memory, system performance, and hardware-related issues.
  • Develop and utilize PowerShell scripts to automate troubleshooting, system administration, monitoring, and support activities.
  • Diagnose system performance issues and perform root-cause analysis for recurring infrastructure problems.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets through ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, network, and retail support teams to resolve complex store-level issues.
  • Document troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, and knowledge articles.
  • Support retail store environments and help minimize POS downtime and business disruption.
  • Participate in escalation management and provide technical guidance to L1/L2 support teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience supporting Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail payment systems.
