Title: Senior Research Operations Manager (Remote)
Duration: 4 Months with possibile extenstion and Full Time convertion
Location: Remote

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain research operations infrastructure, including standard operating procedures, recruitment templates, screeners, consent language, intake workflows, scheduling guidance, and reusable study resources.
  • Coordinate customer access so interview requests are well-planned, appropriately routed, and not duplicative or conflicting across teams.
  • Manage research vendors, procurement workflows, contracts, purchase orders, budget tracking, and recurring vendor performance follow-ups.
  • Administer research tools and platforms such as UserTesting, UserZoom, and VoxPopMe, including access, usage guidance, renewals, and optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to support consent, safe data handling, adverse-event reporting, documentation, and retention expectations.
  • Identify practical ways to use AI-enabled workflows and automation to improve research speed and consistency without compromising rigor, privacy, or compliance.

  • You have 2-5+ years of experience in Research Operations, Design Operations, Product Operations, research program management, or a related operations role supporting User Research, UX Design, or Product teams.
  • You are a systems thinker who can turn ambiguous, high-friction workflows into clear, scalable, and well-documented operating models.
  • You have hands-on experience with research platforms such as UserTesting.com, UserZoom, Great Question, VoxPopMe, or similar tools.
  • You bring strong project-management discipline, including ownership of timelines, dependencies, handoffs, budgets, documentation, and follow-through across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • You understand the end-to-end research lifecycle well enough to anticipate operational needs for interviews, usability testing, concept evaluation, surveys, customer trials, and mixed-method studies.
  • You are comfortable working in a regulated or privacy-sensitive environment and can collaborate effectively with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Procurement, and business stakeholders.
  • You are exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, especially with customer data, consent records, incentives, vendor deliverables, tool permissions, and research documentation.
  • You communicate clearly with researchers and non-researchers by creating templates, playbooks, and guidance that make complex processes easier to follow.
  • You are curious about AI, automation, and emerging research tools, and you know how to balance speed with human judgment, research quality, and compliance review.

1. You have previously built and/or scaled User Research Operations for User Research, UX Design, or Product teams.
2. You bring disciplined project management, with ownership of timelines, dependencies, handoffs, budgets, documentation, and follow-through across multiple workstreams. You are highly organized and detail-oriented, particularly when managing customer data, consent records, incentives, vendor deliverables, tool permissions, and research documentation.
3. You understand the end-to-end user research lifecycle well enough to anticipate operational needs for interviews, usability testing, concept evaluation, surveys, customer trials, and mixed-method studies.
