Job description

Position Summary...What you'll do...Manager, Tech Ops, eComm – Cross Border Fulfillment Services The Walmart US eCommerce cross border team builds products that allow Marketplace sellers to easily provide fast, affordable delivery options to Walmart's customers.  In this role, you’ll collaborate with engineering, product, business, cross functional stakeholders, and operations functions to launch new capabilities that will help Walmart to enable and improve cross border shopping. Obsessing on simplification and reducing friction for customers and sellers is at the heart of this role as you create intuitive and loveable experiences. In this role, you will work across multiple cross-functional stakeholders, be agile, and apply the right frameworks, operating cadence, and business analysis and acumen to the execution roadmap. As such, you will be able to identify key risks, dependencies, and work with the requisite teams internally or externally to put solutions in place that will achieve the desired outcomes. The individual in this role will be skilled at managing timelines, understanding complex process and ideas, engaging and communicating to with a broad set of stakeholders across multiple domains, as well as engaging at a detailed level across product management, supply chain and analytics. Responsibilities:
  • Go-to business lead on project execution, third party liaison, operations liaison, etc. for cross border programs. You will work closely with partner teams, such as Customer Care, Seller Support, the Go-To-Market Team, Transportation, Compliance, Legal, Tax, among others.
  • Ensure complex product launches are executed smoothly to unlock maximum value. Manage communication with leadership for alignment, updates, and problem solving.
  • Build standard operating procedures to ensure program launch readiness working in collaboration with product, engineering, business and operations.
  • Leverage metrics to measure and monitor program performance on an ongoing basis. Manage edge cases/exceptions and reduce process variations.
  • Lead alignment on overarching business objectives, designing launch plan, onboard cross-functional teams, building in-depth plans, track and monitor milestones.
  • Business program management, functional deep-dives, and alignment at program and individual functional level.

  • You are a structured and organized thinker who can drive analytical, and technology related projects to completion with minimal direction.
