Job description

Job Summary:
The Intelligence Domain GSSE provides direct support to Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Joint Intelligence activities across global theaters. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of the intelligence cycle and the full spectrum of intelligence disciplines, including Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). The engineer enables operational effectiveness by integrating advanced intelligence systems, conducting tailored user training, and identifying and addressing technology capability gaps.
The Operations Domain SE provides expert-level technical and operational support across SOCOM and Joint Staff missions. This position supports global, theater-level operations, enabling mission success through system integration, training, software implementation, and synchronized situational awareness. Engineers in this role must have strong familiarity with operational environments, Joint and SOF processes, and Command and Control (C2) systems such as Common Operational Picture (COP), Tactical Data Links (TDL), and Operational Area of Interest (OAI) systems.
Job Duties:
Key Responsibilities:
? Provide intelligence analysis support leveraging knowledge of HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and all-source intelligence.
? Apply a thorough understanding of SOCOM and Joint Staff intelligence analysis principles, cycles, and operational integration.
? Serve as a subject matter expert to train end users on SOF-specific Programs of Record and commercial/government mission technologies.
? Develop and conduct customized training courses based on unit-specific intelligence needs.
? Adapt quickly to evolving technologies and ensure new capabilities are seamlessly integrated into the host unit's intelligence production processes.
? Provide intelligence and operations briefings to senior leaders and support operational mission planning.
? Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams, supported units, and Combatant Command intelligence entities.
? Contribute to the operational relevance and sustainment of software capabilities, ensuring ongoing utility to intelligence missions.
Required Qualifications:
? 4+ years of experience communicating intelligence and operational information to senior leaders.
? 4+ years of analytical experience in HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, OSINT, or at least two intelligence disciplines.
? 3+ years of experience with:
o Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
o Analyst Notebook
o M3 or similar research tools (Catapult, Palantir, FADE)
o HOT-R or CHROME (Counterintelligence & HUMINT management tools)
? Demonstrated ability to train and support SOF personnel on intelligence systems.
? Experience working in support of deployed or forward-positioned military intelligence units.
? Experience briefing and communicating complex intelligence and operational information to senior leaders.
? Experience leading and managing Field Support Engineers (FSEs) and intelligence teams across geographically dispersed locations.
? Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain intelligence systems and train end users.
? Extensive knowledge of SOCOM intelligence systems and integration within Joint Operational Environments.
? Experience in capability gap identification and coordination with Combatant Command intelligence activities.
? ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility required
? Experience in operational planning, software fielding, and mission command integration.
? Participation in or leadership of AoR-level working groups and technical forums.
? Proven leadership and/or coordination across Combatant Commands and Joint Task Forces.
? Strong oral and written communication skills for technical training and coordination.
? Demonstrated knowledge of C2 systems, COP platforms, and operational task organization structures.
? Experience supporting geographically dispersed units and reporting operational capability gaps.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
? Experience with intelligence fusion systems, link analysis, and all-source intelligence workflows.
? Familiarity with SOF-specific intelligence systems and mission sets.
? Knowledge of emerging technologies and integration strategies within the intelligence domain.
? Ability to develop concise intelligence products tailored to operational needs.
? Skilled in mentoring junior engineers or analysts in intelligence toolsets and processes.
? Familiarity with TDL integration, GCCS, and mission planning systems.
? Understanding of SOCOM mission types and command relationships.
? Experience with mission-critical software implementations in live or training environments.
? Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
? Ability to travel globally in support of operational units.

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of pay range of $90,000-110,000,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
