Job Description:

This position is responsible for coaching and developing athletes within The Peach Pit’s Women’s Competitive Gymnastics Program. The Competitive Gymnastics Coach will provide high-quality technical instruction while supporting athletes’ physical, mental, and personal development. This position includes developing skills and routines, preparing athletes for competition, maintaining athlete safety, and creating a positive, disciplined, and encouraging training environment while upholding The Peach Pit’s high standards and posh boutique experience.

Essential Duties:

  • Coach Women’s Competitive Gymnastics athletes on all four events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
  • Develop athletes’ strength, flexibility, conditioning, technique, artistry, and overall gymnastics performance.
  • Teach proper skill progressions, drills, shaping, and technique appropriate for each athlete’s level.
  • Prepare athletes for competitions, including routine development, refinement, and competition readiness.
  • Attend and coach assigned competitions, team events, exhibitions, and other program activities.
  • Develop athletes in accordance with applicable USA Gymnastics requirements and competitive standards.
  • Maintain a positive training environment that encourages discipline, confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic.
  • Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive, age-appropriate feedback and corrections.
  • Communicate with staff, athletes, and parents in a timely, professional, and constructive manner.
  • Collaborate with the Competitive Director, Head Coach, and other coaching staff regarding athlete development and team goals.
  • Maintain proper supervision and enforce all gym and athlete safety policies.
  • Assist with equipment safety checks and equipment set-up/take-down.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, including staff trainings, clinics, meetings, and required certifications.
  • Maintain all required USA Gymnastics, SafeSport, and professional certifications applicable to the position.
  • Complete gym opening and closing duties each shift as assigned.
  • Assist with team camps, clinics, evaluations, special events, and other competitive programming as needed.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, dependable, and athlete-focused coach who has a passion for competitive gymnastics and developing young athletes. The ideal candidate understands that successful coaching goes beyond teaching skills and is committed to developing confident, disciplined, resilient, and well-rounded athletes.


Previous competitive gymnastics coaching experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should have a working knowledge of gymnastics terminology, proper progressions, spotting techniques, conditioning, routine development, and competition preparation. USA Gymnastics membership, SafeSport certification, and other applicable credentials are preferred or must be obtained as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: Monday 3:00p - 8:00p, Tuesday 3:00p - 8:00p, Wednesday 3:00p - 8:00p, Thursday 3:00p - 8:00p, Friday 3:00p - 8:00p, Saturday 9:00a-1:00p

Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 /hour
