Job Overview

The Senior Product Manager is a critical product management team leader overseeing complex and strategic product initiatives. This role drives the alignment of product strategy with overall company objectives while leading cross-functional teams toward successful execution. The Senior Product Manager role requires a seasoned professional who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels in an AI-first environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep sense of ownership and excellent analytical and leadership skills. This remote career opportunity reports to the corporate office in Gainesville, Florida.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership 

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and goals. 
  • Lead in the creation of multi-quarter product roadmaps to achieve business outcomes. 
  • Make high-impact decisions that balance competing priorities and resources. 
  • Mentor and provide strategic guidance to Product Managers and other team members.  

Product Execution and Quality 

  • Take final accountability for the success of product releases, from conception to deployment, including meeting timelines, resolving blockers, and finding creative solutions to business problems. 
  • Oversee the creation and refinement of high-quality product documentation. 
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure the product meets or exceeds quality standards. 
  • Conduct post-launch evaluations to assess the outcomes and ROI of product initiatives. 

Advanced Data Analysis 

  • Lead initiatives for advanced analytics, leveraging data to drive product and business strategy. 
  • Present actionable insights to executive leadership for strategic decision-making. 
  • Identify new data sources and analytical tools that improve product development and customer understanding.
  • Develop and own key performance indicators (KPIs) for your product portfolio. 

Customer Advocacy 

  • Lead user research efforts. 
  • Translate customer pain points into strategic initiatives.
  • Continually refine and evolve buyer personas based on market trends and customer insights.  

Stakeholder Collaboration and Influence 

  • Act as the key liaison between the product, operations, engineering, marketing, and sales teams sited around the world. 
  • Develop and deliver persuasive presentations to gain executive buy-in on product initiatives.
  • Drive alignment across multiple departments and ensure consistent messaging and approach.
  • Facilitate complex negotiations that involve multiple stakeholders, including external partners and suppliers. 

Competitive and Market Mastery 

  • Lead in-depth market and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Translate market trends into actionable strategies for product differentiation.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for product launches, including positioning and messaging.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute product launches successfully. 

Team and Process Leadership 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the product management team. 
  • Mentor product managers and product owners.  
  • Identify critical areas for process optimization and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience; Master's degree is a plus but not required. 
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience, with at least five years in product management roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a focus on leading through influence rather than direct authority, to align and motivate diverse teams toward shared goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with experience in presenting to senior management.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated organization and leadership abilities, including experience influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience facilitating and clarifying client needs and translating them into user stories.
  • Proven experience writing concise and effective user stories that can be used to develop detailed requirements.
  • Ability to thrive while working on Agile based software, including leading planning, and grooming meetings.
  • Strong experience working with Claude, Figma, Jira.
  • Ability to create diagrams to visually represent requirements and/or high-level architecture.
  • Experience managing  financial products preferable.
  • Minimum internet speed of 25 Download/10 Upload.
