As a Tree Climber with Joshua Tree Experts, you'll be a key member of our 2-4 person crews, working in some of the area's most beautiful neighborhoods where homeowners invest in professional tree care. What a Tree Climber Does:

  • Perform expert tree climbing for removals, pruning, and preservation work
  • Communicate effectively with crew leader and team members
  • Maintain professional image and represent JTE's premium brand standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with homeowners
  • Delegate work to ground crew and ensure safe operations
  • Maintain assigned equipment and climbing gear to company standards
  • Follow comprehensive safety protocols and ANSI standards
  • Identify and communicate upselling opportunities to crew leader
  • Work minimum 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities
  • Understand and operate aerial lift equipment as needed

What You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years professional tree climbing experience
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • ISA Certification preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Commitment to safety and following established protocols
  • Physical ability to perform demanding climbing work
  • Team-oriented mindset with willingness to train others
