Job description

The Behavior Support Services Community Support Manager (Case Manager) is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and supporting behavioral services for individuals receiving services through Maryland's Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). This position serves as the primary liaison between individuals served, families, Coordinators of Community Services (CCSs), behavior technicians, clinicians, DDA representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery, compliance with DDA regulations, accurate documentation, and timely billing.

The Community Support Manager oversees admissions, service authorizations, funding coordination, person-centered planning activities, behavioral support documentation, billing compliance, quality assurance processes, and direct supervision of two Administrative Coordinator positions. The position plays a critical role in maintaining electronic records within iCM, coordinating annual assessments and service plans, resolving billing issues, and ensuring individuals receive person-centered services that promote independence, inclusion, and positive outcomes.
