Job description

Human Resources Department
(803) 673-9262

Earn $13/hour plus commission and bonuses, with a realistic $65,000-$100,000+ annual earning opportunity while helping families plan for the future.

Celebrating 25 Years of Leadership, Service & Stewardshi

For 25 years, Integrity Group has served families and communities through locally operated cemeteries with a commitment to leadership, service, stewardship, and long-term care.

At the heart of that commitment is our Standard of Care:

Serving Families One Conversation at a Time.

Family Service Counselor

Full-Time | Cemetery Sales | Pre-Need & At-Need Family Service

Integrity Group intentionally structures Family Service Counselor compensation differently.

Starting Base Compensation: $13.00 per hour PLUS earned commissions PLUS performance bonuses.

The hourly wage is paid in addition to commission. It is not a draw against commissions and does not disappear when commissions are earned.

Based on 2,080 hours annually, the hourly foundation alone is approximately $27,040 per year before commissions and bonuses.

For a counselor who consistently serves families, develops relationships, follows up, and produces, historically an annual income of $65,000 โ€“ $100,000+ is a realistic earning opportunity. Exceptional performance can create additional upside.

Actual earnings vary based on production, the mix of cemetery property, merchandise and services selected by families, payment terms, and individual performance. There is no guarantee of a specific level of commissions or total annual compensation.

In addition to hourly compensation, commissions, and performance opportunities, Integrity Group provides:

  • Two weeks paid vacation after one year of employment
  • IRA with company match up to 3% of income** after completion of the 90-day introductory period, with no vesting period
  • Health insurance assistance - Integrity Group pays 50% of the employee's individual health insurance premium, up to $500 per month
  • Seven paid days of choice, allowing employees flexibility to request paid time away for days personally important to them
A Sales Career Built Around Serving Families

You do not have to come from the cemetery profession to understand how to listen, build trust, follow up, and serve people well.

If you are already successful in sales and are looking for a career where relationships matter, your skills may translate naturally to Family Service.

If you already work in cemetery sales, pre-need sales, at-need family service, or as a Family Service Counselor, we invite you to look closely at how Integrity Group approaches both family service and compensation.

Our philosophy is simple: strong production should grow from serving families well, not the other way around.

A sale should be an extension of the service provided to a family. That begins with listening, understanding what the family needs, helping them make informed decisions, and building relationships that continue beyond a single conversation.

What You'll Do

As a Family Service Counselor, you will:

  • Meet with families regarding cemetery property, burial rights, vaults, memorials, and related cemetery products and services
  • Assist families with both pre-need cemetery planning and at-need cemetery arrangements
  • Listen to families, understand their needs, and clearly explain available cemetery options
  • Develop new family relationships through community outreach, referrals, follow-up, and personal prospecting
  • Follow up with families previously served by Greenwood Memorial Gardens
  • Help families plan ahead and, where possible, keep family arrangements together
  • Explain cemetery products, services, pricing, financing, and available options clearly and professionally
  • Maintain consistent sales activity, family follow-up, and relationship development
  • Work toward established monthly production goals
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork
  • Participate in training, team meetings, and cemetery programs
  • Build longโ€‘term relationships throughout the Greenwood and surrounding community
  • Represent Greenwood Memorial Gardens and Integrity Group with professionalism, compassion, and integrity
  • Follow Integrity Group's established systems and Standard of Care
Who We're Looking For

We are interested in two kinds of candidates:

Experienced cemetery professionals who understand Family Service, cemetery sales, preโ€‘need and atโ€‘need arrangements, and are looking for a compensation structure and company culture worth considering.

Successful sales professionals from other industries who know how to build relationships, earn trust, follow up, ask for the business, and would like to apply those abilities in a career centered on serving families.

The right person will be:

  • Service-oriented and comfortable working with families
  • A strong listener and relationship builder
  • Selfโ€‘motivated and accountable for personal performance
  • Comfortable with sales goals and measurable production
  • Consistent with prospecting and followโ€‘up
  • Professional, organized, and dependable
  • Comfortable asking for the business after understanding the family's needs
  • Communityโ€‘minded and willing to develop new relationships
  • Willing to learn cemetery property, merchandise, services, financing, and applicable regulations
  • Committed to serving families with integrity

Cemetery experience is valuable, but it is not required. Proven sales ability, relationshipโ€‘building skills, and a genuine service mindset can provide a strong foundation for success

More Than an Hourly Job. More Than a Sales Job.

This is an opportunity to build a career, develop a book of relationships, serve families throughout the community, and create an income that grows with your ability to serve and produce.

Integrity Group provides the hourly foundation, commission opportunity, benefits, training, systems, and support.

A Company Where Your Name Is Known
