Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our school-based therapy team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), the PTA will assist in implementing therapy plans, providing direct services, and supporting students’ mobility, strength, and functional independence in the school setting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the PT in delivering therapy services and exercises to students.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collect and document student progress under PT supervision.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the therapy team to reinforce therapy goals in the classroom.
  • Prepare therapy materials and ensure a safe environment.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations under the direction of the PT.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Active PTA license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for helping children achieve their functional and educational goals.
