Winnwood Retirement Community - Marietta, GA
Family owned assisted and independent living community
Certified Medication Aide- Part Time
Available Shifts:
1st Shift 7am-3pm / 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm / 3rd Shift 11pm- 7am
CMA Job Duties:
  • Administer medications per physician orders and state regulations
  • Accurately sign off on Medication Administration Records (MARs)
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living as defined in the resident care plan
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services in resident's units and common areas as indicated on the daily checklist
  • Set tables, serve meals and bus tables using Serving Guidelines
  • Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond appropriately
  • Respond to any and all medical emergencies following established emergency procedures
  • Attend training and in-services as scheduled
  • Interact professionally with Resident's family members
  • Document all resident information and concerns in the communication book
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid Georgia Certified Medication Aide Certificate
  • Must have current CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Must be able to perform job-relevant duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and lifting/moving a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
