Position Description: Job Description:M. Shapiro Real Estate Group is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our Manufactured Housing Community team. The Sales Assistant plays a key role in supporting the community sales efforts by providing exceptional customer service, assisting prospective homebuyers throughout the sales process, maintaining model homes, and helping achieve occupancy and revenue goals. This position works closely with the Community Manager and Sales Manager to create a welcoming experience for current and prospective residents.Job Duties• Greet prospective residents and provide information about available homes, community amenities, and the home buying process.• Conduct community and model home tours while showcasing the benefits of living within the community.• Assist with the sales process by preparing sales documents, maintaining customer files, and following up with prospects.• Respond promptly to telephone, email, and online inquiries from prospective residents.• Maintain accurate records of prospect traffic, customer interactions, and sales activities within company software.• Support marketing initiatives by maintaining online listings, distributing promotional materials, and assisting with community events and open houses.• Ensure model homes, sales offices, and community common areas are clean, organized, and presented professionally.• Assist with move-in coordination and provide a positive transition for new homeowners.• Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to generate referrals and increase community visibility.• Support resident retention initiatives by providing excellent customer service and assisting with resident events.• Monitor local market activity and competitor offerings and communicate findings to management.• Work collaboratively with the Community Manager, maintenance team, and corporate staff to ensure a positive homeowner experience.• Perform general administrative duties including filing, preparing reports, ordering office supplies, and maintaining sales records.• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational excellence, resident satisfaction, employee performance, asset performance, compliance, ownership objectives, and company goals.Job Requirements• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.• Strong sales aptitude with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective homeowners.• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn property management and CRM software.• Professional appearance and positive attitude.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Willingness to work weekends and occasional evenings based on community business needs.• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations or the ability to quickly learn and comply with all applicable requirements.Required Education, Experience, and Credentials• High school diploma or GED required.• One to two years of customer service, retail sales, leasing, or manufactured housing sales experience preferred.• Previous experience in property management, manufactured housing, real estate, or a related industry is a plus.• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.Physical Requirements• Ability to walk the community and stand for extended periods while conducting tours.• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.M.
