Job description

Job Duties

As an Outreach Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in promoting HealthPartners' mission within the community. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with diverse community members and organizations to promote HealthPartners' key Community Health initiatives (including but not limited to: PowerUp, Make It OK, Teen Leadership Council, Little Moments Count, Community Health Needs Assessments, and more). You will represent HealthPartners at various events, conduct outreach activities, and collaborate with internal teams to support our outreach strategies.

Work Scheduled: Casual

Required Qualification:

High school diploma or equivalent

Lakeview vehicles: Must be age 18 or older and have at least 1 year of driving experience, must have a valid driver's license and meet all criteria required under Lakeview's Automobile Liability Guidelines

Interest in representing HealthPartners at community outreach events

Friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic personality with a passion for engaging with people.

Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Detailed oriented

Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings & weekends, depending on event schedules.

Cultural humility, and a commitment to and understanding of issues of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Ability to lift 50 pounds and be very physically active loading, unloading and delivering materials to community partners and assisting with event set up and tear down

Preferred Qualification:

Relevant outreach experience with community outreach/events, health promotion and/or community health.

Experience working in a community-based setting.

Experience performing as a mascot or in a similar entertainment role.
