Job description

We are seeking a Community Liaison to help drive brand awareness and increase market share for our on-campus Inpatient Program, Outpatient Program and Residential Treatment Program.

This is an exempt position, with travel required.

Charter Oak Hospital offers compassionate and individualized treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. We believe in a patient-centric approach, where every treatment plan is tailored to meet the specific needs of each person who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do:

Our Community Liaison make a difference in the lives of our patients. Our dedicated professionals work tirelessly to create an environment that fosters healing, growth, and long-term wellness.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • Assist the Chief Executive Officer in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the hospital marketing plan.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources in the greater Los Angeles region including physicians, therapists, hospitals, schools, and social service organizations.ย ย 
  • Plan Programs and events that build relationships between the hospital and potential clients.
  • Assists in the designing of hospital brochures and related materials.
  • Create social media content and drive digital engagement.
  • Maintain a consistent flow of referrals to the outpatient program and effectively coordinates with the Business Office to verify the insurance of patients.
  • Other related duties.

ย Aurora Charter Oak Hospital is a licensed and accredited psychiatric hospital providing Behavioral Health Treatment Services for adults and adolescents with mental health and/or substance use problems for over 83 years. We are located on 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in Covina, California. Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Worked as a Community Liaison, or have sales, business development, account management, project management, or marketing background
  • Experience with having a referral growth responsibility for relevant hospital business lines
  • Experience in building relationship with hospitals, schools, and social service organizations
  • Valid California Driver's License, can be insured through employer's carrier
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare, or related field
  • Two years of healthcare experience
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to effectively use CRM software programs such as Salesforce or Zoho
  • Internet marketing and social media experience highly desirable
  • Experience working for an outpatient (IOP/PHP) and a Residential Treatment Program is preferred
  • Experience with behavioral health preferred
