Job description

Help turn infrastructure needs into funded, designed, and delivered solutions. We create the systems that connect people, places, and opportunity โ€” from complete streets and parks to utilities and civic spaces. This role offers opportunities to support infrastructure planning, program implementation, and community-focused initiatives alongside traditional engineering design work.

Job Duties

  • Assist in preparing site, roadway, stormwater, and utility designs.
  • Produce drawings, plans, cost estimates, and technical documents.
  • Conduct site visits and assist with field investigations, construction observation, and data collection.
  • Assist with project development activities including funding applications and program documentation.
  • Help ensure municipalities comply with applicable codes, standards, permit requirements, and agency guidelines.
  • Interpret local, state, and federal regulations related to stormwater, drinking water, land development, and public infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, funding specialists, and program managers to advance client infrastructure goals.
  • Help prepare technical analyses, reports, and supporting documentation for infrastructure funding and implementation initiatives.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 per year.

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 0โ€“3 years of experience.
  • EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D (preferred, not required).
  • Interest in municipal infrastructure, public works, and community development projects.
  • Desire to develop both technical engineering and project delivery skills.
