Job description

Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Houston, TX

Job Description                  

Functions under physician's orders. Provides and directs speech therapy services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, completing related documentation and communication.

Common programs include: dysphagia, language/communication, cognitive retraining, auditory rehab, and medication management.

Speech Language Pathologist

Job Requirements

1.  A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

2. Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

3. School/ Peds experience is a plus.

4. Be licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.
