• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to design cohesive care strategies.
• Provide educational support to patients and families to encourage progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of field advancements through ongoing education and collaborative peer interaction.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completing a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preference for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within 30 days of employment.
