What is a communications event?

Communications events are planned activities or gatherings designed to share information, promote engagement, and foster relationships among an organization's stakeholders. These events can include press conferences, product launches, webinars, workshops, or internal meetings, and they are often managed by communications or public relations professionals. The goal is to effectively convey key messages, support branding objectives, and generate positive publicity for the organization.
