Job description

Office Associate

Join RBC and be an integral member of our team. As an Office Associate, you will provide support to ensure the branch operates efficiently on an ongoing basis, especially handling the needs and requests of our clients.

What will you do?

  • Accurately record all checks, securities and coupons received from clients and ensure that they are credited to the proper accounts. Transmit all checks received for deposit to Minneapolis on a daily basis. Promptly and accurately notify the respective Financial Advisor and/or Client Associate of all checks received
  • Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and maintain office supplies including marketing and new account opening materials, open and manage incoming mail
  • Plan and coordinate client and vendor events, both on- and off-site by creating documents and agendas and handling all logistics
  • Act as back-up when support staff is out of the office
  • Provide IT support and order all necessary equipment and upgrades for branch staff
  • Perform general office responsibilities including opening and distributing mail, stamping outgoing mail, and maintaining correspondence as required by RBC

  • 1+ year of general office experience
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent people and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and consistently use good judgement

The expected salary range for this particular position is $45,000 - $75,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
