Description

Position Scope

We are seeking an energetic Installation Trainee to join our team in a manufacturing environment. You will work alongside general laborers and fabricators to assemble and install both large and small components for various projects. Candidates with little to no experience are welcome, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble FPS equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform physical labor tasks and operate hand and power tools.
  • Set up welding equipment based on job requirements.
  • Plan and select optimal welding processes and parameters to minimize distortion and warping.
  • Prepare materials for assembly, including cutting and prepping raw materials.
  • Clean and grind welds to ensure quality.
  • Conduct housekeeping duties and adhere to company safety policies.

Qualifications & Abilities

  • No welding experience is required; however, experience in a heavy industrial setting or assembly in a manufacturing environment is a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of safe working procedures and practices.
  • Willingness to travel extensively; must possess valid travel documents for travel to the U.S. and worldwide.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address issues with supervisors and team members.
