Project Manager - Concrete Construction
Classification: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: Franklinton, NC
Position Summary
Lindsay Precast is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee concrete construction projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with experience in civil or concrete construction who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead concrete construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure schedule, budget, quality, and profitability objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate activities between estimating, field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and project closeout.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Prepare project reports, forecasts, and communicate project status to leadership.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project execution and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in concrete, precast, civil, or commercial construction.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and customer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scheduling.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software is preferred.
