En tant que chef de projet, vous serez au cur de l'execution du projet de notre zone de marche, en garantissant la livraison ponctuelle des pieces et une communication de qualite avec les clients. Vos responsabilites comprendront la communication avec les parties prenantes et la gestion des relations avec les clients, les fournisseurs et les unites internes.

Ce poste est base a Montreal (Quebec) et necessite des deplacements d'environ 30 % du temps.

 

Equipe a laquelle vous appartiendrez :

Vous rejoindrez une equipe d'experts en gestion de projets passionnes par la fourniture de solutions cles en main a nos clients. Nous travaillons actuellement sur plusieurs projets majeurs de renovation, de mise a niveau et de maintenance partout au Canada.

Nous travaillons en etroite collaboration avec les intervenants internes, tels que notre groupe des services sur le terrain et des ventes. Notre culture d'equipe repose sur la collaboration.

 

Ce que vous ferez :

  • Gerer les contrats cles en main de service sur le terrain et de LCS conformement aux processus, outils et politiques mondiaux de Metso.
  • Superviser l'execution du projet, en veillant a ce que les ressources soient allouees efficacement pour repondre aux attentes des clients et aux obligations contractuelles.
  • Organiser des reunions de lancement internes et externes pour definir les objectifs du projet et clarifier les questions contractuelles.
  • Elaborer des calendriers de projet, en coordination avec divers departements de Metso a l'aide de MS Project.
  • Collaborer avec le personnel de soutien technique pour concevoir des procedures, des outils speciaux, des gabarits et des montages.
  • Tenir des registres de la progression de l'installation et des informations techniques pour tous les evenements de service sur le terrain.
  • Coordonner les activites sur le terrain avec les clients et leurs sous-traitants.
  • Gerer les lecons apprises, identifier les opportunites d'amelioration continue et fournir des commentaires aux parties prenantes.

 

 

Qui etes-vous :

 

  • Maitrise obligatoire du francais et de l'anglais (oral et ecrit).
  • Experience en execution de projets dans les secteurs minier ou de l'equipement lourd (atout important).
  • Certification en gestion de projet ou diplome pertinent (atout).
  • Maitrise de SAP requise ; une experience de Salesforce est un plus.
  • Permis de conduire valide et capacite d'obtenir et de conserver un passeport valide.
  • Connaissance des produits d'equipement capital Metso, notamment les concasseurs (atout).
  • Comprehension des termes commerciaux et juridiques.
  • Capacite de lire et interpreter des dessins techniques (atout).
  • Excellentes competences relationnelles et de gestion client.
  • Disponibilite pour voyager environ 30 % du temps.

Introduction:

As a Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our Market Area Project execution, ensuring timely delivery of parts and quality customer communication. You will play a crucial role in meeting customer expectations, fulfilling contract obligations, and achieving targets for safety, quality, schedule, and budget. Your responsibilities will include stakeholder communication and relationship management with customers, suppliers, and internal units.

This role is based in Montreal, QC and requires approximately 30% travel.

You will join a team of project management experts who are passionate about providing turnkey solutions to our customers. We are currently working on several major retrofit/upgrade/maintenance projects across Canada.

We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as our Field Services and Sales group. Our team culture is all about getting it done together.


What you'll do:

  • Manage Field Service and LCS turnkey contracts in line with Metso's global processes, tools, and policies.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet customer expectations and contract obligations.
  • Conduct internal and external kick-off meetings to define project goals and clarify contractual issues.
  • Develop project schedules using MS Project in coordination with multiple departments.
  • Collaborate with technical support to design procedures, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Maintain accurate records of installation progress and technical details.
  • Coordinate field activities with customers and contractors.
  • Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Who you are:

  • Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken) - mandatory.
  • Experience in project execution within mining or heavy equipment industries is strongly preferred.
  • Project management certification or relevant degree is an asset.
  • SAP proficiency required; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain/maintain a passport.
  • Knowledge of Metso capital equipment (crushers) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of commercial/legal contract terms.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
