Job Summary

As the Communications Manager you will be responsible for managing and executing the overall communication strategy for Fantasy Flight Games while also directly overseeing customer service inquiries. This role serves as a central communication hub for the studio-partnering closely with marketing managers, internal teams, and external PR partners to ensure clear, consistent, and timely messaging from Fantasy Flight Games.

The role combines strategic communications planning with hands-on management of customer-facing inquiries, ensuring alignment between external messaging, customer service responses, and internal communication.

What will your role involve
  • Facilitate and maintain the overall communication strategy for the Fantasy Flight Games brand, ensuring alignment across teams and initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to external PR agencies, coordinating messaging, timelines, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Act as a communication resource and strategic partner for marketing managers, supporting campaign messaging, announcements, and cross-channel alignment.
  • Lead internal communications for the studio, including cross-departmental communication and information flow.
  • Directly oversee and manage customer service inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and on-brand responses to players, retailers, and partners.
  • Partner closely with customer service stakeholders to align messaging and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication projects, managing timelines, stakeholders, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and messaging across all internal and external communication channels, including customer service responses.
  • Develop processes and best practices to improve communication clarity, efficiency, and collaboration across teams.
  • Monitor communication effectiveness and gather feedback to recommend improvements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging communication strategies relevant the industry and fan-driven communities.
  • Utilize project management tools to prioritize work, track progress, and maintain visibility across active initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of customer service ticketing tools like Zendesk.

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, market conditions and specific work location. Base Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000.
