Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) system engineering and information technology firm, headquartered in Maryland and Virginia. Incorporated in 1999, we support mission critical Information Technology (IT) business needs for clients within the intelligence community (IC), Department of Defense (DOD), Veteran Administration (VA) and for select commercial clients. ACET, Inc.’s technical, programmatic, and analytical professionals are experts in commercial technology, customized solutions, and proprietary government systems.


ACET is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance I at our MCAS Camp Pendelton Site

Responsibilities:

  • Standard military terminations
  • Ability to read block diagrams
  • Basic knowledge of interpreting schematic diagrams
  • Wire routing and clamping experience
  • Applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions
  • Replaces components and wires circuits
  • Repairs simple electronic equipment
  • Takes test readings using common electronic test instruments
  • Uses digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes
  • Works under close supervision with technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician
  • Work is frequently checked for accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 1-3 years rotary wing aviation experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate
  • U.S Citizen and must pass a background check and be able to obtain and maintain a Common access card.
  • Must meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
  • Demonstrate an operational knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, engines and component parts.
  • Must be familiar with operational capabilities and limitations of electrical/avionics systems.
  • Able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, technical manuals, and use measuring instruments, gauges, tools, and test equipment.
  • Knowledge of the proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenance.
  • Able to read and write, and interpret and comply with aircraft maintenance procedures, manuals, specifications, and directives, guides and forms used on the job.
  • Must show proficiency in the use of OOMA after assignment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to pass fit for work physical and/or drug test as required.
  • Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, to include working overhead.
  • Must be able to work at height in the hangar and on the flightline.
  • Must be able to man and perform Flightline Extinguisher duties.
  • If required must be able to pass a DOT physical and operate Powered Industrial Trucks.
  • If required must be able to pass a respiratory physical and wear a respirator for 2 - 4 hours.
  • If required must be able to perform confined space activities.
  • Travel may be required.
