Job Title:

Associate Director, Marketing and Communications, Enrollment Management

Physical Location:

Kent Campus - Kent, OH

Salary:

$67,706 - $76,140

Basic Function:

Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of integrated strategic communications plans to recruit, engage and build relationships with prospective students and families. Reports to Director, Marketing and Communications, Enrollment Management.

Examples of Duties: Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:

Create and oversee integrated, strategic communications plans for all target populations within Enrollment Management CRM.

Build automated and ad-hoc digital campaigns through Enrollment Management CRM and actively monitor performance.

Provide data reports to Enrollment Management leadership detailing digital efforts through CRM.

Make recommendations to leadership on how to strengthen overall marketing and communications plans, as well as recruitment campaigns, utilizing data from CRM.

Work closely and coordinate with various Enrollment Management teams and departments to deploy targeted communications that are timely and relevant in the prospective student journey.

Collaborate with college and campus partners to build targeted communications plans that support enrollment goals.

Provide training opportunities for CRM users across the university, including campus and academic partners, to strengthen collaboration efforts.

Develop and implement digital marketing strategies designed to drive conversions, applications, and enrollment.

Develop and maintain a robust and user-friendly editorial calendar showcasing the efforts of each targeted population within the CRM.

Monitor peer and competitor marketing and communications efforts to identify trends and creative approaches.

Create compelling multichannel content for mediums including, but not limited to, email, print SMS, web, video, and social media.

Provide project management for communications related assignments.

Represent the division at various university meetings and committees.

Supervise unclassified and classified employees within the marketing and communications area.

May supervise students as assigned.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or relevant field and four years of experience in marketing, communications, or higher education.
