THE JOB
We are now accepting applications for general production associate roles at Commonwealth Cooperage, our new state-of-the-art facility in Morehead, KY. We provide employees with an opportunity to cross-train and grow into various roles. Our teams work with a competitive spirit and offer employees performance-based incentives in every department.
Commonwealth Cooperage, a subsidiary of Independent Stave Company, a family-owned business, has been committed to making quality cooperage products for four generations. We are looking to build a team of diverse and talented team members who can develop and grow with us as the world's leading manufacturer of white oak barrels.
PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBERS
  • Pay starts at $17.00/hour.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES for PRODUCTION WORKERS
  • Keep up with fast-paced work environments and production lines.
  • Safely operate equipment used in the various manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborating with co-workers and supervisors in a cooperative and respectful manner
  • Responsible for keeping work areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
  • Ability to work in various body positions; bending, stooping, standing, and the ability to have coordinated movements of pulling, pushing, grasping, reaching, and bilateral arm movements.
