About the Role

East Daley is hiring an Account Executive who is energized by connecting with people, opening new conversations, and turning high-value market intelligence into commercial momentum. This is a front-line revenue role for someone who enjoys building relationships, persuading senior decision-makers, and helping clients see a clearer path through complex energy-market questions.

The right person will bring urgency, social confidence, curiosity, and conviction. You will create opportunities, build trust quickly, gain buy-in from multiple stakeholders, and drive deals forward from first conversation through close.

This seat is built for a commercial driver.

You will own a revenue number, lead executive-level conversations, and have visible impact in a scaling   analytics business. You will also work closely with research, product, data, and client-service teammates to translate East Daley insight into client outcomes.

What You'll Own

Own a revenue target and manage your pipeline with urgency, discipline, and clear next steps.

Create, qualify, and develop opportunities with senior decision-makers across energy, finance, infrastructure, and commodity-market accounts.

Lead sales conversations end-to-end, including outreach, discovery, value framing, proposal, negotiation, and close.

Persuade clients and internal stakeholders by connecting East Daley's data, analytics, and advisory value to specific business outcomes.

Build trusted relationships with executives, commercial leaders, investors, analysts, and market participants.

Partner with research, product, data, and client-service teams to shape solutions, brainstorm new opportunities, and sharpen market positioning.

Bring market feedback into the business so we can continue improving products, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.

Maintain CRM discipline, forecast accurately, and communicate deal risks and opportunities early.

What Success Looks Like

Close revenue against quota and consistent progress toward annual targets.

High-quality pipeline creation, strong conversion, and increasing deal velocity.

Executive-level relationships that create repeatable opportunities and account expansion.

Clear linkage between client problems, East Daley solutions, and measurable commercial outcomes.

Strong collaboration across internal teams, with the ability to motivate action without needing formal authority.

Visible accomplishments: wins are measurable, recognized, and tied directly to performance and career opportunity.

Who Thrives Here

You are outgoing, expressive, and comfortable initiating conversations with people you do not yet know.

You communicate with warmth, confidence, energy, and empathy, especially with senior stakeholders.

You like persuading others, creating alignment, and gaining buy-in around a point of view.

You move quickly, take initiative, and enjoy balancing multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

You are collaborative and team-oriented, but you are also willing to assume responsibility for risk, execution, and results.

You enjoy brainstorming, testing new angles, and finding creative ways to open doors or move a deal forward.

You are competitive, resilient, and motivated by a clear connection between performance, reward, and recognition.

You can sell complex, data-driven solutions in a way that feels practical, relevant, and outcome-oriented to the client.

Requirements

Qualifications

5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably selling complex solutions, market intelligence, data, analytics, research, advisory, or financial-information products.

Experience selling into energy, financial services, private equity, infrastructure, commodities, or related markets preferred.

Proven ability to self-manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.

Strong executive presence, discovery skills, commercial judgment, and negotiation capability.

Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a fast-moving, performance-oriented environment.

Ability to learn complex market concepts and communicate them in a clear, persuasive, client-centered way.

CRM discipline and comfort using data to manage pipeline, forecast, and prioritize activity.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $70,000-$100,000, depending on experience.

Total compensation: $110,000-$160,000+ with commission upside tied directly to performance.

Medical, dental, and vision coverage with company contributions.

401(k) with a 3% company contribution.

Flexible spending and health savings account options with company contributions.

Company-paid life, accidental death, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage.

Collaborative, in-person team environment in Greenwood Village, CO.

We're a collaborative, in-person team - and yes, we're dog-friendly! Several team members bring their well-behaved dogs to the office from time to time.

Why Join East Daley

A relationship-driven sales seat with direct access to senior decision-makers and influential market participants.

A differentiated product suite in a complex, high-value market.

A visible line between performance, recognition, reward, and career opportunity.

A fast-moving environment where strong communicators and commercial problem solvers can shape outcomes.
