Are you looking for an opportunity to be one of the faces to our largest clients? Welcome to your next role! The Forecasting Analyst will serve as a key representative to our internal and external stakeholders across Supply Chain, Marketing and Business Insights. 

This individual is expected to lead the creation of promotional forecasts in collaboration with internal and external partners and requires the ability to fully analyze and speak to the forecasting process and output. This role is also responsible for ensuring high forecast accuracy.  

This is a hybrid role based at 345 N Morgan St, Chicago, IL 60607. Candidates must reside in the Chicago metropolitan area. Relocation assistance is not offered at this time.

Responsibilities: 

  • Build sales forecasts individually and assist in creation of sales forecasts by our offshore forecasting team 

  • Analyze sales performance, data trends, quantify business drivers such as price and marketing initiatives, and create baseline models 

  • Build and refine PowerPoint decks summarizing forecasting insights and results 

  • Present and defend forecasts to the customer and address customer feedback and questions 

  • Serve as the face to the customer, develop and maintain strong relationships to influence decision making and promote HAVI's role as thought leader 

  • Lead communication of project status and reports to appropriate internal and external partners 

  • Manage multiple deliverables' timelines and scope in order to meet customer objectives and milestones 

  • Ensure that the forecasting team is using best-in-class methods by keeping up-to-date with industry and business trends 

  • Lead or participate on special project teams 

  • Provide recommendations to demand planning, supply planning and enablement teams on process improvements, solving problems and accomplishing planning objectives based on holistic understanding of cross-functional roles in the overall supply planning process 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Business, Statistics/Informatics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Supply Chain & Logisticswith equivalent professional experience 

  • Minimum of 3+ years ofdata analysis, forecasting, demand planning, supply planning experience  

  • Experience in managing client relationships and expectations in a B2B setting required 

  • Experience in a team environment, with responsibility for end-results  

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint, and Word  

  • Experience with statistical software packages (SAS, SQL, R, Python, etc.) is a plus 

  • Experience with Marketing/Social Media analytics is a plus 

 

 *Starting Salary is $80,000-$90,000 with a 5% targeted bonus
