Reports To:                  Sr. Marketing Operations Manager

Compensation:             $70,000-$90,000 annually

Job Overview:
The Social Media & Content Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of Overture’s social media presence across key platforms. This hands-on role combines strategy, content creation, on-camera representation, video production, copywriting, and publishing.
Working closely with teams across the organization, this individual will develop engaging content, monitor industry and competitor trends, support social-first campaigns, and use performance data to continuously improve Overture’s social media presence.  A Portfolio of work is required along with resume.
 Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Help develop and execute Overture’s social media strategy across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
  • Build and manage an editorial calendar aligned with company priorities, industry trends, and target audiences.
  • Adapt content by platform to ensure messaging and creative are appropriate for each audience and channel.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice while identifying creative opportunities to differentiate Overture.
  • Manage publishing, community engagement, and day-to-day activity across company social channels.
  • Identify opportunities to participate in timely trends, conversations, and emerging platform formats.
  • Develop original content featuring Overture’s people, products, capabilities, culture, and client work.
  • Serve as an on-camera host and personality for short-form videos, interviews, product features, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Independently shoot and edit short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Write social posts, captions, video scripts, hooks, and campaign copy.
  • Interview employees and subject-matter experts to identify useful, interesting, and engaging stories.
  • Turn merchandise trends, product launches, activations, and company news into relevant social content.
  • Capture content at company events, client activations, production facilities, and other locations as needed.
  • Repurpose strong content ideas into multiple formats, including video, photography, carousels, written posts, and recurring content series.
  • Monitor social media, cultural, marketing, and branded merchandise trends.
  • Track competitors and relevant brands to evaluate Overture’s content and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Develop a regular competitive scorecard covering content volume, engagement, audience growth, formats, and share of voice.
  • Develop social-first campaigns designed to grow audience, engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Identify and manage relationships with external creators, influencers, and freelance content partners.
  • Create briefs and oversee creator content from concept through publication.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on product launches, events, thought leadership, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Test new content series, creative approaches, and distribution strategies.
  • Track audience growth, engagement, reach, video completion, website traffic, and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Use performance data to evaluate content effectiveness and continuously improve the social media strategy.
  • Provide regular reporting that includes clear insights and recommended actions.
  • Connect social media activity to broader business goals, including brand awareness, customer engagement, recruiting, and lead generation.
  • May require up to 10% travel.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s  degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
  • A  current résumé along with a portfolio or samples of relevant social media, content creation, video, or campaign work is required
  • 3–5 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong social media content, particularly short-form video.
  • Experience managing brand accounts across platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Experience creating, shooting, and editing social media content.
  • Experience with video-editing and design tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, interviewing, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, formats, and audience behavior.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and representing the company publicly.
  • Ability to work independently and move quickly from idea to execution.
  • Experience working with creators, influencers, or freelance production partners preferred.
  • Familiarity with social listening, scheduling, analytics, and paid social tools preferred.
  • B2B, agency, fashion, retail, lifestyle, product-driven brand, or branded merchandise experience preferred.
