Job description

TITLE: Television Master Control Operator

FLSA: Full time โ€“ non-exempt


BASIC FUNCTION: The TV Master Control Operator is responsible for monitoring the quality and accuracy of our on-air product, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and preparing programming for future playback. Shifts could include overnights, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Should be flexible with availability.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting automation playlists for up to seven television & two radio stations.
  • Maintain relationships with clients.
  • Switching live news and sports programming.
  • Maintaining transmitter logs.
  • Other duties as needed.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong computer knowledge.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable with good communication skills.
  • Strong work history.
  • Previous master control experience is a plus but not required.

*Shifts could include overnights, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Should be flexible with availability.
