Job description

As a Staff Engineer you will utilize your experience leading development initiatives utilizing CI/CD and distributed teams; strong .NET, SQL, C# and web services skills combined with agile development expertise, excellent communication abilities, and knowledge of security standards.
Job Functions:
  • Recommend solution options and provide technical recommendations based on business complexities and objectives.
  • Mentor junior software engineers and contribute to their growth.
  • Participate in technical design meetings and review business requirements.
  • Develop and unit test software solutions following the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, testers, and infrastructure teams.
  • Define technical deliverables and ensure detailed documentation, support knowledge transfer, and configuration processes.
  • Contribute to the overall design, configuration, and deployment documentation.
  • Conduct research and provide viable technical alternatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices, standards, and company guidelines.
  • Work with offshore development teams, if applicable.
  • Conduct code reviews as required.
  • Review and address code scanning outputs for vulnerability remediation.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience leading software development or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Cloud-based software development and testing (AWS, Azure).
  • Integration of AI practices in the engineering strategy.
  • UI controls, ASP.NET.
  • Frontend experience platforms such as Angular or React.
  • HTML5 / CSS
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in software development or a related field.
  • Additional specific experience in technologies and tools mentioned in the descriptions.

Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
