Job description

PrideStaff has an incredible opportunity for a Sewing Machine Operator in Fort Lauderdale area


Responsibilities:

  • Operates sewing machines to assemble aviation emergency equipment products.
  • Experience with commercial/industrial single and double-needle sewing machines. Interfaces with all manufacturing personnel as required 
  • Monitors sewing operation for issues such as breaks in thread, defective stitching or machine issues. 


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one-year sewing experience using commercial equipment required • Able to distinguish stitch lengths 
  • Able to use electric cutters and scissors 
  • Must learn quality procedures & related specifications 
  • Strong knowledge of how to read blueprints and apply to everyday tasks
