Job description

Job Title: Certified Scrum Master (SAFe / Enterprise Agile)
Role Overview
An experienced Certified Scrum Master is needed to lead software development teams through agile transformation and continuous delivery. In this role, you will facilitate agile ceremonies, coach teams on scrum values, and collaborate closely with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Product Owners to align priorities and maximize productivity.
This is a high-impact facilitation and coaching role. You will serve as the team's agile expert, removing impediments, fostering a culture of transparency and self-organization, and driving sustainable velocity. If you are a collaborative problem-solver who excels at managing information radiators, tracking metrics, and guiding teams toward high scrum maturity, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Agile & Scrum Facilitation
• Ceremony Management: Facilitate core agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
• Backlog & Story Guidance: Guide teams in writing, splitting, and mapping user stories effectively. Utilize relative estimation techniques and agile release planning to ensure smooth delivery.
• Continuous Improvement: Assess the scrum maturity of the team and organization, coaching members to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace. Foster an environment of trust, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Metrics
• Release Train Alignment: Work alongside Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Product Owners to validate priorities, integrate cross-team efforts, and ensure alignment with program stakeholders.
• Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and remove internal and external impediments by connecting teams with the right resources and personnel without coercion.
• Transparency & Reporting: Manage, publish, and communicate relevant metrics and information radiators to track team progress against objectives. Maintain project management and tracking systems accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) is required. (SAFe Advanced Scrum Master [SASM], CSPO, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist [SA] are highly preferred).
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Experience Baseline: 5 to 7 years of overall IT/software experience, with a minimum of 2 years acting specifically as a dedicated Scrum Master.
• Technical Familiarity: Understanding of basic software development processes, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Preferred Attributes
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and business presentation skills-capable of interfacing effectively across all organizational lines and business units.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to plan, execute, and manage complex project work plans.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and innovative approach to team coaching and agile scaling.
