Job description

Job Title: Pharmacist-Pasco County (4 locations). Schedule: Monday - Friday (8a–5p), PRN at Wesley Chapel, Hudson, Land O Lakes and Longleaf.

What You Will Experience
  • PRN-Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend coverage
  • Predictable daily workflow in an organized outpatient practice setting
  • A patient-focused environment built around accuracy and care, not volume pressure
  • Close collaboration with on-site providers and clinical staff
Core Responsibilities
  • Maintain daily pharmacy operations with a focus on dispensing accuracy, patient safety, and workflow consistency
  • Verify physician orders, ensure appropriate medication dispensing, and identify therapeutic incompatibilities
  • Counsel patients on appropriate medication use and serve as a knowledgeable resource for providers and clinical staff
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws and Florida Board of Pharmacy requirements
  • Maintain compliance with all Joint Commission accreditation standards and elements of performance
  • Maintain controlled substance records and ensure DEA compliance at all times
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to safety and efficiency at the site level
  • Maintain infection control protocols and pharmacy safety standards
Qualifications
  • Required — BS Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted Florida Pharmacist License
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to patient safety
  • Must not be excluded from participation in federal healthcare programs
  • Preferred — Retail pharmacy or outpatient background
  • Prior experience opening or launching a new pharmacy location
  • Rx30 pharmacy software experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
