Role: SQA Automation Engineer
Duration: Long Term
JD:
• Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Leverage AI tools, including our custom GPT solution, to generate and debug automation scripts /framework.
• Create automation test scripts based on test cases, as necessary, in addition to GPT solution.
• Execute test scripts across multiple environments and report results.
• Debug and resolve errors in the automation suite.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
• Knowledge of Medicaid claims and provider preferred
Q&A with Manager:
1.Is Java with Selenium a hard requirement, or are you open to candidates with experience in other languages/frameworks (eg: Python, Cypress)
Yes, Java is a hard requirement
2.Can you describe the current automation framework and how mature it is? Is this person expected to build, maintain, or scale it?
The framework is developed by other team and mature enough to use. This role is focused on creating and updating scripts, troubleshooting and resolving errors during execution.
3.What specific experience are you looking for with GPT or AI tools in automation testing? Is hands-on experience required, or is conceptual understanding sufficient?
Conceptual is okay but prefer hands on AI tools usage.
4.What tools do you use for CI/CD and version control (eg: Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)?
Jenkins/AWS VM/Bitbucket
5.What type of specific experience or knowledge of Medicaid claims and providers is required? Would healthcare experience in general suffice?
Healthcare is ok but prefer knowledge in health care claims processing and providers
6.What percentage of the role involves hands-on coding vs. test execution vs. framework design?
