Position Overview

Peace, Mind and Life Counseling, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to join our team on a full-time basis in a predominantly remote setting. In this role, you will provide essential mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and crisis intervention for both adults and children. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary health teams.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential patient records that meet state and NCQA regulations, documenting treatment efficacy and patient progress.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to meet the specific needs of patients.
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and interventions to promote engagement and compliance.
  • Coordinate referrals to external community resources and additional healthcare services to augment patient support, ensuring comprehensive care.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as necessary, responding to urgent mental health crises and ensuring immediate support for clients.
  • Engage actively in program development and evaluation to enhance the quality and effectiveness of treatment offered.
  • Supervise and mentor Post Masters Fellows and Associate Counselors, helping to nurture the next generation of mental health professionals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role requires a strong commitment to serving a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults dealing with various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will work with individuals who are at different stages of their mental health journeys, striving to support them in meaningful ways as they navigate their path to recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must possess one of the following California licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • National Provider Identifier must be obtained by hire date.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience providing psychotherapy and counseling in an outpatient setting.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health records is highly desirable.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring less experienced clinicians is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
