We even built our own platform, myConcerto, that mixes the best parts of Accenture and Oracle to help companies come into their own as digital leaders. Ready to find genius answers to seriously hard business challenges and work with some of the best? Come join a team that feels personal even though it's over 54,000 strong. As a Global Cloud Elite and Platinum member of the Oracle Partner Network with over 145 awards, we're proud the industry is taking notice of our work, too. Visit us here to find out more about Accenture's Oracle practice (https://www.accenture.com/us-en/services/oracle-index).
You Are:
A technical Oracle Utilities specialist who lives in the engine room of large-scale CIS implementations. You understand how batch processing underpins every critical utility business process-from billing runs and meter reads to data conversion and interface orchestration. You combine hands-on Oracle Utilities Framework experience with sharp scripting skills to design, build, and optimize batch solutions that keep utility operations humming. You are the person teams rely on when jobs fail at 2am and deadlines can't slip.
The Work:
  • Design, develop, and optimize Oracle C2M / Oracle Utilities Framework batch processes to support billing, metering, data conversion, and integration workstreams.
  • Build and maintain shell scripts and automation routines to schedule, monitor, and recover batch jobs across environments.
  • Collaborate with functional leads, architects, and offshore teams to translate business requirements into robust batch solutions.
  • Define and maintain batch architecture documentation, job dependency maps, and operations runbooks.
  • Lead batch-related SIT and UAT execution, including defect triage and root cause analysis for batch failures.
  • Support performance tuning of batch threads, algorithms, and database queries to meet SLAs.
  • Participate in cutover planning and execution, managing batch sequencing and validation during deployment windows.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production and non-production batch environments, providing timely resolution and root cause documentation.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
What You Need:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Framework (OUAF) and Oracle C2M / CC&B batch processing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience writing and maintaining shell scripts (Bash or equivalent) for batch scheduling, monitoring, and recovery.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing batch architectures and job dependency frameworks on Oracle Utilities implementations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Bonus Points If:
  • Oracle C2M or Oracle Utilities certification.
  • Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, AutoSys) in a utility context.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) batch execution environments.
  • Experience with Python or Java scripting to extend batch processing capabilities.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting SIT, UAT, and production batch operations on at least one full-lifecycle Oracle Utilities project.
